Defiant Keys can be earned by completing Lightfall campaign missions, Terminal Overload in Neomuna, raids, Vanguard Ops playlist activities, Gambit matches, and Crucible matches.

Rewards earned through the Vestian Ward upgrade at the War Table will provide additional progress.
